Hi, I’m Ashley.

I reside on Treaty 7 Land (Calgary, Alberta). Land that has been home to the Bearspaw First Nation, Chiniki First Nation, Kainai and Blackfoot Nation, Piikani Nation, Siksika Nation, Tsuut’ina Nation, and Wesley First Nation. I work and profit on stolen land, and I support the resurgence and reclamation of this land. As a settler, it’s important for me to recognize the space I take up. I’m a photographer, cat lover, and coffee drinker. I have a huge sweet tooth and will always choose to have dessert. I watch the same 6 movies over and over again, and I fear the day that The Office is taken off of Netflix. I talk too much when I’m nervous. I don’t know how to change my oil. I love costume parties and New Years Eve. Most importantly, I would love to photograph you and your loved ones.

I photographed my first wedding at 17 and haven’t stopped since. I love first looks, personal vows, and bridal party photos. I am a terrible dancer but you bet I’ll be having a blast with you during your reception.

I want people to see themselves in my photographs. I strive to create a space where you’ll feel safe, comfortable, and excited to hang out together. I will continuously work to create a space of inclusion and safety within my work. You’re welcome here.

I love to cheer you on, make you laugh, and photograph you having a rad af time. I have absolutely no shame in my game when it comes to trying to get you to smile. You don’t need to worry about looking goofy cause I promise that I have already taken that and ran with it!
